Why 8 seconds is the stronger cut
It gives each location enough room to feel earned.
6 seconds — a sharp, efficient version for repeat visits: about 0.75 seconds per scene, with a shorter final hold.
8 seconds — the recommended cinematic version: the Italian shop, travel, and Hess Street arrival each read clearly before the existing hero appears.
